Black Box Recorder - Child Psychology

Back home

I'm back home again. It went well today too! But I'm so exhausted now. Feels like my body wont' even obey me. Forcing my self to cook dinner now! I'm just going to lay on the sofa watching 90210 and Swedish Idol!

First interview done!

I'm home ( at my parents) after the first interview. I think it went very well, at least it feels that way. But I wont know until next week. I changed my clothes, drank some green tea and watched days of our lives (yes I actually watch that show - ha ha. I think of it as a kind of sci fi show...). Now I'm going to sit on the porch in the early autumn sun and study. It feels like a perfect day!

And there's new episodes out of GG and OTH! (I'm making my taste in TV-series sound really bad...but I actually watch some of the good ones as well...)

Starting to get nervous!

So, to day I've been preparing for my interview to morrow! It's at a very nice museum in central Stockholm. Beginning to get really nervous! Been writing a specific application and a personal letter.

I've also been eating too much of those little candy canes! My parents always have tons of candy! Ha ha.

I'm waiting for my dad to read trough my papers, hoping to get some helpful inputs on them. After that I'm thinking of going to bed and watch Ponyo on the cliff. I want to wait up until my BF gets home from work (which isn't until 12.00 PM) so that I can call him and check a few things. But after that I really have to get some sleep. The interview begins early!

Ponyo on the cliff and a cup of ginger-lemon-kamomill tea!

Smoothie...

...with banana, ginger, ( a lot of) raspberries among other things. You should try to add a little fresh ginger when you make a smoothie it gives it a nice kick!

The best thing with Stockholm is Kasper!

Stockholm

I'm in Stockholm, staying with my parents for a couple of days since I have two interviews here this week about an internship at two museums.

Puricute.com

I just had to try it when I found this page. When I lived in Japan as a teenager me and my friends used to take tons of pictures like these, ha ha. You can make your own at puricute.com.

Yesterday

True Blood

Tomorrow there's finally a new episode of True Blood! Me and my BF thinks that it's hilarious that Alexander Skarsgård is in it. Sometimes when they speak Swedish we have to rewind and listen to it again, ha ha. It sound so funny when the american actors speak Swedish!

Waoo

Someone just wrote かわおお to me and I was trying to figure out what it meant KA WA O O but then I just realized - when I saw that another Japanese girl had written waoo to me that it means wow! Just like they say [cohi] for coffee and [meronsoda] for melon soft drink!
How cute is that? It's TOTTEMO KAWAII!! Waoo is so much more nicer to say than wow! Ha ha.

I thake it back

"It's a mix of a work out in strength, qigong and martial arts, not at all as hard as it sounds like"

I TAKE THAT BACK! I just got home and all that's left of me is a pool of sweat, ha ha.

Hectic but good day

Having a hectic but good day!

I'm going to study some more for a while and later I'm going to something called a ki-work out. It's a mix of a work out in strength, qigong and martial arts, not at all as hard as it sounds like. It's suppose to be at a level that everyone can follow.

I'm longing for tomorrow! Me and my boyfriend are going to IKEA! Yeay!

Keeping busy

Yesterday I went to buy really dark blue nail polish, but I got home with this one instead:

To day half the class had presentations between 8 - 12 AM and then I had a lunch meeting. After a power nap and some "school work" we continued to get the apartment organized.
This evening we had sushi for dinner, celebrating that the kitchen finally is in order, ha ha.

After dinner we kept working on the apartment and after that we ate pomegranate and watched Swedish Idol on TV.

Now I have to go through all the books on museum work I should keep as research for my essay. I borrowed twelve and two more is on the way...I kind of exaggerated (maybe not kind of, ha ha) on the amount of books but I want to go trough them thoroughly at home and in peace. You might find something useful in a book you didn't expect...

To morrow I have a meeting with a girl that I'm probably going to collaborate with. Her essay is going to deal with how important pedagogy is for the museum. Mine is more about what makes an exhibition a success and what kind of roll the project leader takes, what kind of experience he/she should have and so on (I'm so tired so I'm making it sound boring but it isn't been working on my essays question(s) at issue and thesis a lot more than it sounds like.

So um, well...keeping busy!

Good night

I just saw the first episode of Mad men. Not sure what I think yet.
Right now I'm watching Felicity in bed. Sometimes I wonder if me and my sister are the only two persons in the world who actually watch it. Ha ha. Almost every one I know hate the show. Weird?

It's been a good day. Mostly consisted by trying to get things in order in the apartment and a core workout with too good friends!

The picture is from this afternoon (it's 11.36 PM now). I took a walk to the shopping center again. Something me and my boyfriend really have to get to the apartment (besides curtain holders, mats, and some furniture) is a full length mirror! I hate not knowing what I look like ha ha.

Hope you have a good night!

Detox

So how do I feel today? Kind of in need of a detox. Feel like I've been living on junk food for a week which I almost have. I feel gloomy and tired. So for a few days now I'm only going to eat and drink healthy! Beginning to day. The worst I've eaten or drunken to day is only a few sips of coffee! And to night I'm going to do a core workout. Hoping to feel better soon.

Moving is a mess

So we finally moved in to our new apartment and it's total chaos. Well at least it's a mess. It's going to take us a few days to organize everything, but that's also part of making this into our home so I'm also looking forward to it.

Finally done!

I just handed in my paper...it feels weird I keep thinking that they're not going to like it or that I accidently wrote something bad or weird or wrong, ha ha. But now it's done, finally. Now I can just focus on moving to the new apartment. Tomorrow we're going to take all the furniture so we hope to move everything else to day!

But before I get going I'm going to make a phone call about an internship and I'm a bit nervous about it. But therefor I just want to get it over with!

CUBUS

I wouldn't mind shopping this from cubus:

or this:

Ida

This is my friend Ida singing:

Hearing her sing again made me moved to tears. I'm so proud of her!
Oh, how I miss her!

Just got home!

Just got home! Have been too a lecture in regional culture policy.
After that I went to the shopping center with some friends. Bought two bottles of white wine since it's Friday tomorrow! I also bought a yoga mat! Finally! And on my way home I bough sushi for dinner! My mood is kind of bad so I try to cheer my self up instead of just sitting home by my self moping. Some sushi for dinner I hope will do the trick and after a few hours of studying I'm going to try out my new yoga mat!

Here is a blueprint (is that the right word?) of our new apartment:

The text is in Swedish. Kök = kitchen, sovrum = bedroom, vardagsrum = living room, balkong = balcony. KPR is short for Kapprum which is kind of old fashioned to say (haha) it kind of means Coat room, but now we simply say hall. Bad means bath and is of course the bathroom.

Yeay me!

I did 45 min cardio and 15 min yoga with my Wii fitness coach so - yeay me. Although it was on the easiest level and I don't have a yoga mat yet (not good for my back).

Now I'm going to take my laptop to bed and write on my paper!

I'm longing for all the good TV-series to start again! But for Big Love I have to wait until 2010! Oh noes.

Wii fitness coach

Moving can be exhausting! I don't mean to complain every time I write but damn I'm tired. And I still have a lot to do! I'm also thinking about working out with my Wii fitness coach! I bought it a few weeks ago and I have to say it's really great! You should try it. I only use it when I don't have time to go to the fitnesscenter or when I feel like working out but at the same time feel like being alone...I think that if I work out 30 minutes now and take a shower it will give me more energy to do some good!

Here is the trailer:

Wednesday morning

It's 09:52 AM and I shouldn't still feel so tired!

I'm sipping my coffee starting to read this book:

My paper that is do Friday is about what kind of essay I want to write and what kind of internship I want. I really want an internship at a museum and I want to write about how it is to work as a project leader (manager) in a museum and also what makes an exhibition a success. This is what I really want to do so my paper have to be really good! And since it's my last year before I kind of graduate (Don't have time to explain the system but I guess it is different from other countries) I want it to be something I'm good at so that I feel like I did something good and useful. Hopefully something that will help me find a job after graduation!

I am going to read for a while then me and my boyfriend are going to move some more boxes before he has to leave for work and I have to go to the library and pick up 6 more books. It's really hard to concentrate in this mess. Can't wait to the weekend when the move is final.

Getting nothing done...

So how is my studying going? Kinda not at all...

I get nothing done at all right now. Except dinner...and surfing the
Internet....

Really have to
concentrate....

I just had to try out my
web-cam:

My friend scared me by telling me how people can hack into your web-cam and watch you. So now I have to cover it haha!

I think I just have to
disconnect from the Internet and just really focus now!

Taking a break

So me and my boyfriend have been moving boxes and bags with stuff. It's not a lot but it's a start. We're really going to move this weekend when we get help moving heavy furniture. My boyfriend has gone too work and I just got back from a walk to the mall. Starting to feel guilty about not studying yet to day. Have a paper do Friday and I want it to be really good! Now its 4 PM and I'm going to rest for a while then I really have to study!

Moving day!

Yes, I and my boyfriend are moving in to a bigger apartment today! I can't wait!
The annoying thing is that we already went to get the keys but when we got there they haven't gotten the keys yet. So we go home and calls the woman who's moving asking if we can get the keys but she says she just left to drop them off. So my boyfriend just left to go back there. It is a weary long cue and I'm so irritated at the woman. She promised us that we could move in like a week early which wasn't true at all! So I really hope that she actually is on her way to drop off the key. Don't trust her!

Anyhow. Kind of sound like I'm in a bad mood but actually I'm so exited about moving and right now I'm enjoying a cup of coffee thinking how nice it was of my boyfriend to go back alone.

And about this new blog. I'm giving blogging in
english a try! So let me introduce my self (but I only have like a minit so it's gonna be a very short introduction). I'm Swedish 23 year old girl who looks like a 15 year old, haha. I come from Stockholm but live in a smaller town called Norrköping right now. I'm studying at the university, and it's my last year. I'm hoping to work with textile and exhibitions in the future! I have a blog in Swedish about my crafts and art: okashii. Why okashii? Well, when I was 14 years old I moved to Tokyo, Japan with my parents. I hated it as first being a teenager with no knowledge about the country. But things turned to the better when I started to like it and getting friends. I miss Japan a lot and I really hope I can go back soon! okashii was one of the first Japanese words i learned. It has many definitions and the most common one is strange and weird. I felt that I was very okashii back then, not really fitting in and having my own style and look at things. To day, too me it still means strange but of course in a good way!

Ok, this firt entry was a bit messy, but it will get better!
Think I should go met my boyfriend now and look at the apartment! FINALLY! Will post pictures later!
